Hi All! I'm starting year 2 with this pool that was installed in 2012. Last year, I replaced the heater and salt controller with the exact same brand/models that were already there to keep from moving any pipes. This worked fine, but I realized whomever installed the pool initially put the salt cell between the filter and heater instead of after the heater. My plan is to move the salt cell to the proper spot after the heater and before the diverter (the diverter is to turn on and off the slide). Its just sch40 PVC, and I believe I can do a vertical install of the cell if I need to. Is there anything you all can suggest in terms of cutting/breaking the existing welds, concerns about elbows/bends, or type of pvc I would need? Also, I purchased a new diverter (Pentair 263037 3-Way PVC 1-1/2 inch (2 inch slip outside) ), as the original one is difficult to operate evwn after fresh application of Magic Lube inside.
