I got a new liner, and it looks great! I guess we are now moving on to the next problem, which is that the pump has seized up. I haven't been back to mess with the thing yet, but assuming it's seized, I would like to get a move on procuring a new motor/pump. Currently have a 1 hp century (hst110). I'd like to just replace the whole deal because the pump housing is a bit leaky.
Pool is in signature, 2 skimmers and a main drain, a sand filter, circupool rj45+, and a return that splits somewhere under the concrete. I'd like the option to put in a heat pump at some point. I'm fine with doing an install and I'm brand agnostic, just want whatever will work well for a while at a good price.
The liner installer is quoting $1900ish for pentair superflo 1.5hp with a 2 year warranty. and I've never looked into pentair because of their perceived walled in automation controls.
I plan to find the dumbest vsp I can because I don't like black box control where I can't see everything.
Any help on recommendations is greatly appreciated!
