Trying this today with IQpump01 and Century vGreen 165. Cannot connect to Internet. The controller is wired in per instructions and DIP switches 1,2,5 are ON with 3,4 OFF. I am able to go through the "Add System" prompts to the point of picking wifi network on 2.4 band but will not connect.
I've tried holding the wifi and SVC buttons for reset and going back through but no-go. I even tried skipping the WAN and just controlling via LAN/direct connect to the IQpump device and while it presented me a system, I could not start or control the speeds.
I'll retry in a few days. Will be too cold to sit outside and try to figure this out.

I tried it and have been getting the following email for the last few days.
Same 👆and hope to find another way. My vLink worked great...until Regal pulled the plug.

Did you go to the Jandy site and create an account? I know that you need to do that at some step in the process, I just can't remember if you have to do that before you try and set up the controller?

Also, did you successfully make the configuration change to the motor via the USB to RS485 adapter commands described earlier in this string of messages? If so did the motor respond to the Jandy commands and run for a minute as described?

Finally had time to try this all again. Yes-following instructions from post #8, I am able to use the Jandy IQPUMP01 to set schedules, freeze protection speed, etc. But only in local/direct connect mode. Cannot get the Jandy control device to connect to the Internet. That seems to be a common complaint and won't derail the primary discussion going down that rabbit hole.
Thank you MSchutzer for the excellent write up. I am at least part-way there on equivalent control of my vGreen 165 that I had via vLink
