This is the first time I have opened my pool although I am a convert to TFP techniques and used them successfully last year. I have opened the pool this year and am doing a SLAM now. My question is I have been slamming for 24 hours now and the pool is clearing slowly but the mosquito larvae that are in the pool are still swimming about normally. Surely the chlorine should kill them off. I have a CYA level of 50 so am using a FC of 16 for the SLAM. Any thoughts?
