I have someone coming over today to look at my pool for a re-plaster job. I have been searching for someone to re-plaster for 4 years. There are companies in my area that do new builds, but no one who will re-plaster. I finally was put in touch with this person who used to work at a company that used to do plaster work on pools. The company no longer does this, and this individual now does a variety of home construction jobs. I am in a small town where jobs are frequently completed with verbal agreements and you just hope that they will want to do a good job because they are friends with your cousin, or whatever. Anyway, I would like to draw up a contract, if we decide to go forward with this, and wonder if any of you have a model contract I could work from.

I am just now seeing this. I really think any standard contract would work......I, ____(workers name), will do ____(work to be done) for _____(your name and address) for _______($$). There are several generic one on the web that you could copy and tweak to fit your needs. I think it is a VERY smart idea!!
