Ready to start using the TFP method and have a few questions...

1) I purchased liquid chlorine from Home Depot (HDX brand). Packaging says it is 10% sodium hypochlorite/90% other products. On the TFP phone app, this type of chlorine and % is not available as a selection option in the drop-down menu. I'd like to be able to use the app for my pool math, so if this liquid chlorine is not an available selection, any other product suggestions?

2) Any suggestions on the type of "solid" stabilizer material that can be placed in a sock and put in skimmer?

3) Any suggestions for test strips that measure CYA?

Welcome! I'd say to your questions:
1 - I can't access the app right now, but use either the 8.25% or 12% selection for now. @Leebo or @mknauss will confirm.
2 - Any granular stabilizer where the main ingreidant (cyanuric acid) is as close to 100% as possible. I got my last batch (Clorox I believe) at Walmart.
3 - None. Test strips will fail on that test (and others). You really need a TF-100; or Taylor K-2006C as a substitue. But the TF-100 is best in my opinion.

First things first, welcome to TFP!

On the App select the Bleach option and it’ll allow you to enter 10% for all your calculations. ?

Welcome!
Select ‘Bleach’ and enter 10 for your 10% liquid chlorine. Bleach and liquid chlorine are chemically identical.

Ach! Lee beat me to it!
