Milky white water after gritty substance removal

Once the water is clear of the organics, then your last step is filtering, filtering. Filtering. To clean up the water. Are you taking a daily picture in the same spot.

See the progression in my pictures. The difference between the last two is the cloudiness.

I love my cleaner. It's hard wired to a booster pump. There are other kinds now that don't have to be hard wired. For a treed area it's very helpful for getting the leaves that don't get skimmed.

Your safe to swim as long as your FC is below Slam Level and the water is clear. It's not safe to swim if your water isn't clear. Your SLAM isn't over until you pass all three criteria. You do not want to stop too soon.

Have your printed out this chart? It is handy to have so you can tell at a glance if it is safe to swim FC wise.

Pool School - Chlorine / CYA Chart

So long as your water is clear enough to see a swimmer under the water AND the FC is just under the SLAM level for your CYA it is okay to swim. I would NOT wear a good suits though.

Like Lisa said do NOT stop too soon! You are making good progress!

We are enjoying the pool very much. I did a test tonight and wondered what you folks thought:

FC: 13
CC: 1
TC: 14
CH: 225
TA: 160
CYA: 30
pH: 8.2

The first thing that jumps out is your CC is 1 it should be .5 or lower
PH is high, but not accurate because any FC above 10 will give you a false PH reading.

If it were my pool, I would let FC drop to 9 and test again. If you still have a CC of 1, then lower PH to 7.4 and raise FC to SLAM levels again until you have a CC of.5 or less and pass the OLCT again
