Remember that vinyl pools don't typically need calcium. Some people become concerned about CH for heaters, but it's a low pH that is much more destructive to a heater core. So if you do decide to add CH,keep it to a minimum. Exchanging water was the right move.

Should finish exchange Friday. Water drop in temp from 87 to 83 so not bad. Saturday can check water chemistry. Won’t know Cooper until next week

Ok water exchange completed . CL 3.25 PH 7.5 Hardness 230 ALK 106 CYA 44 Need to get a copper test at pool store which might not be until Friday as they are only open Monday-Wed-Friday and Im gone Monday and Wednesday .Good news no staining so think Copper is better. Warm weather has helped as back to almost 85F doing a three day drain and fill

A couple things:
1. In the future, please post your test results as follows as it's much easier for us to review:

2. Refresh my memory, what test kit are you using? Please add to your signature. The numbers posted od not appear to be from a TF-100 or Taylor K-2006.
3. Did you do a 100% water exchange, or only lower to about 1-2 feet? I ask because new water has no CYA in it, but you are still showing a CYA of over 40.
