Media Library Management

I have a number of images in my media library that don't belong to any of my albums (i.e. they were just placed directly in a post). Is there a way that I can add these pictures to an existing (or new) album? I've played around but can't see any way to do it outside of re-uploading the picture, which seems wasteful from a storage standpoint.

I was searching for a way to delete some old pics in my Media Library and was unsuccessful.
Am I stuck with them? There must be a way to clean out some old pics.

Yeah, definitely looking at my albums.

For example, you can see in the below screenshot that I'm looking at my Media.


I'd like, for example, to be able to take the two pictures I've outlined, and put them in my 'Lighting' album:


I can't see any option to do that. I've even tried adding the images using the 'Linked Item', but it refuses the link because it's not from an approved source like Imgur/etc.

So the only thing I could see to do would be to download the picture, and then upload it again to the album. But then I'm assuming the picture would be hosted twice on TFP servers.

I’ll make a note to spend some time this weekend to review permissions on the media gallery as what you’re looking at doing may not be allowed currently. I do stress the word may however as I simply have zero idea what I currently have the permissions set to.

Following as I wish to do the same.
When posting I don’t always have the time or the forethought to create an album 1st. I currently don’t have any albums- just lots of random pics.
I also would like to clean up/ remove some of my pics. If I delete them will they be deleted from the post the were used in?
