I've had my Maytronics M600 for 3 summers and the cable has needed to be replaced twice. Both times I got a notification in the app that it couldn't connect to the robot. The first time, I thought a previous run in with my autocover had caused the damage, so I troubleshot it myself and saw the pins at the end of cable in the robot were all corroded. Bought a cable online, replaced and it worked for over a year.

This last time, the cable had been babied - never left in the pool for long periods, always coiled nicely and covered when not in use. Just a couple of weeks ago I had the same issue in the app, so I took it to a pool store that was a warranty site for Maytronics. They diagnosed the same issue - bad cable pins. It was replaxed under warranty, but it does make me question the longevity of these cables and this design.
