To start with....NO QUESTIONS.:laughblue:Just follow-up.
It's been 12 months since changing to rigid PVC Plumbing and new Pentair Cartridge Filter/Pump upgrade (that I purchased 5 years ago:hammer:).
A bit oversized, yes, but it's been a blessing. Efficient, quiet, reliable, consistant. Best investment I could have made to upgrade my little INTEX. What more can I say. I would have to backwash my INTEX Sand Filter once every four to eight weeks as the pressure increased. But after 12 months with the Pentair cartridge setup, I have a pressure increase of 1 - 2 psi. I'll clean the filter for the practice. I've posted a picture of the gauge from last May and this May.

Thanks guys for all your help over the years.

Nice.

How about some pics showing the entire equipment and plumbing to show other Intex pool owners what can be done with equipment other then from Intex?

I have a pressure increase of 1 - 2 psi.
Once clean, use the high speed of the pump as your baseline PSI. It's much easier to see a 25% increase of 17(?) than it is of 2.

Most 2 speed and VS pumps show next to no PSI when running low.
