Hi all! Just looking for a little advice and reassurance before I bite the bullet on a genuine Pentair replacement board.
In general, the heater will go through the start up display and then I get an E01 error code. Originally, I thought it was the thermistor as I have had that issue before, so I bought a new one and put it in. Same thing.
After reading through things more on here, I bought a multimeter and tested the thermistor. It is reading about 9,900 Ohms which according the chart is within two degrees of what the floating thermometer I put in the pool reads.
I bought some 10 Ohm resistors and was waiting for those to come in. This morning I went out to look at things again. I tried turning it on again, the display did not work (this has happened before after a rain and it rained last night) but the heater fired up and ran for a couple of hours before shutting off. After that, it was back to the E01 error code. The resistors came in today, so I hooked up the resistor between the wires going to the thermistor and same result - E01 error code.
The following LED's are lit on the board - LED 7, LED 11 & PS.
Is there anything else I should check/try first or do I need to replace the board with the new updated board and keypad?
Thanks for any help!
