Old triton 2000 d.e. 48 sq ft effective filtration system has a stripped screw that holds the manifold down onto the filters. The heavy rock currently being used just ain’t doing it anymore. My question is .......has anyone encountered this same problem and come up with a good fix?

Maybe a ratchet strap?
Take the diameter of the filter, pi r squared, and times the pressure, then probably double that amount of ratchet strap.

They are talking about the internal rod that holds the grids together. Pressure and area don't have anything to do with it.

Lol. Thanks. I’m gonna spend some time during football game and inspect the inside parts of the filter. I know the center rod that holds the manifold is stripped and not holding the top manifold down. Thanks for the comments. I love this site!,
