Making a reference CYA solution. Is it going to work?

So I’m “working” from home today, and got bored and decided to try making a reference CYA solution.

I did 12 grams of granules to 12 liters of RODI water, which should yield a 1000ppm solution I can then dilute to whatever target.

Has anyone else done this? If so, how’d it go?
 

How to make a standard 50ppm CYA Cyanuric Acid standard solution

I am hoping someone can tell me how to make a 50ppm standard solution so I can test my abilities to accurately test my pool water. I have a postal scale that will measure in small amounts and some 100% CYA granules. Anyone want to help out?

Yes, perhaps I should have searched first. 🙄

Although, looks like the OP decided to just buy some, so didn’t really have any feedback.
