MagnaPoolHydroxinator VS Salt SWC

Newbie here from Australia,

Currently have a LM series SWC that needs upgrading whole unit

thinking of going for a MagnaPool Hydroxinator - magnesium salt?

Any thoughts on pluses and minuses or experinces very much appreciated!
