I believe the disc is on it.The spring is gone, so the disc is probably also gone.
Look into the outlet to see if the disc is on the rod.

It looks to be roughly 40ft. From return to pump.Ok, if the pump runs well with the chlorinator disconnected and poorly with the chlorinator connected, then that indicates that the return line is probably clogged.
How far is it from the filter to the pool?
You can run a temporary line from the filter to the pool until you can get the line cleared.

Any ideas on how to go about clearing that line?Ok, if the pump runs well with the chlorinator disconnected and poorly with the chlorinator connected, then that indicates that the return line is probably clogged.

Maybe get a service to help.Any ideas on how to go about clearing that line?
Ok i will. Thank you for all your help. Its been quite frustrating as most issues are easily solved with a bit of research and or common sense. This has been very time consuming. I thought it may be a clogged return as most all efforts pointed to that.I would get rid of the chlorinator and run a temp line until you can get the return fixed.
Do you just run a temp line from filter to over the concrete laying into the pool? Ive never had to go this route before.I would get rid of the chlorinator and run a temp line until you can get the return fixed.
So i drained the pool past the return lines and used shop vac to blow through the lines while covering each one seperately. They are both spraying out together. What do you think? Should i fill pool back up? Pot is full and flowing too. So strangeI would get rid of the chlorinator and run a temp line until you can get the return fixed.
Do you think this flow is good to refill pool?If it is the disc or something like it, it can change the amount of blockage depending on the orientation of the disc.
So, it might be turned one way and then rotate, which can alter the flow.
It might be at the T where the return lines split from one into two.
Hard to tell.
Everything is flowing strong. Im thinking of letting it flow all night as this level then after work filling it back up. The pump pot is full and flowing everything seems to be good. Strangest thing.Without being there, I can't really tell.
Does it seem right to you?
Filter pressure at full speed was 22 psi as opposed to 30 psi beforeIf it is the disc, it might rotate and create a blockage at any time.
Hard to know for sure.
What is the filter pressure at different pump speeds?
