So my aquarite is giving me a reading of 2300. I had the water tested and it's really at 4000. Before opening up this season I replaced my thermistor because my readings were off last season. New thermistor and still bad inaccurate readings. In 8 years I've replaced the thermistor twice.

If ear it may be the board. Any advice for the next thing to check?

Thanks

For AquaRite, move the switch from auto to off and check all of the readings.

Move the switch back to auto and recheck the readings.

Move the switch to off for a minute and then back to auto and recheck the readings.

Report all readings.

What are the first seven characters of the cell and box serial numbers?

What is the actual salinity and how are you measuring it?

What is the T-cell size?

Is the T-cell size set correctly in settings?

To get the performance percentage of the cell, divide the instant salinity reading by the actual salinity reading.

You need to be really sure about the actual salinity reading.

You need to use a K-1766 salt test kit or a calibrated meter.

Note that ProLogic, AquaLogic and AquaPlus use the Hayward T Cell.

However, the procedure to get the diagnostic readings is different.

Here is the procedure for ProLogic, AquaLogic and AquaPlus:

Go to the diagnostic screen, note the readings and then press the + button to reverse the polarity.

When the new numbers appear, see what they are.

Then, press + again and note the new readings.

Ok, got around to the readings yesterday. Here they are. I followed the instructtions and the readings were the same in all cases. I havce a t-15 Aqua-Rite:
2500
89 (water temparature)
25.5
5.45
39P
-2400
AL-0
r 1.58

I also measured the salinity with a Apera Tester Kit and it gave me a reaading of 4000 which is consistent with the reading I got when I got it tested.

Thanks for the help!!

If you're sure about the actual salinity and the cell size is correct in settings, then I would say that the cell is probably bad.

How old is the cell?

What are the first seven characters of the cell and box serial numbers?
