low salt intex swg

Had a big rain and then my swg started saying low salt. I tested and added more salt. 2 days later still reading low salt and it is not keeping up with chlorine like it was before. Does it take this long for salt to register??

Does your testing show an increase?

Once the salt is totally dissolved you can check it, I wait 24hrs. It's best to leave the SWG off until all the salt is dissolved.

How old is the SWG cell?

I had the same problem with my Intex - the Cell was totally caked in Calcium Salts (after just one week of operation!). Works perfectly now I have cleaned it (vinegar soak for 2 hours)
