I am trying to figure out how to reset the average salt reading on my Hayward T3. I have attached the notifications in the pictures below. When I test my salt with my TF test kit it shows 3200 PPM. Does anybody run into this problem? If so, any suggestions?

Confirm your actual salinity. If correct, the cell is near failure.
How old is the cell.

As the T3 is very undersized for your pool, it is likely time for a new cell.

This is based on Ave Salt (2500) divided by actual salt (3200). That is close to 75%. So the cell is expended.

You can take it to a pool store that tests Hayward cells.

File a warranty claim today.
Got it done. Picking up a new t3 this morning under warranty.
This doesn't change the issue of the T3 being undersized for the pool.

Do I pick up the t3 and use it for another 3 years?

Do I go get the t3 and also buy another cell That's the correct size for my pool? Is there a market to sell a brand new t3?

Follow up.
I got a replacement T3 from the local pool store that did the original install. Things appear to be running normal. I tested the salt again, and I am at 3200 PPM. They never explained why they installed a T3 for an 18k pool. They were under the impression that a T3 was more than adequate.
