Looking for automatic cover bench plans

I recently had an automatic cover installed for my 14'X24' pool. I want to build a bench and have seen a few nice DIY projects here. Can anyone share their plans for this project? I'm wondering how to cover a 14' span without a support in the middle (since the cover is there).

Does the cover system manufacturer not offer a spindle cover? Aquamatic surface mounted units come with an aluminum and composite bench. Ours has held up well for over 15 years. Only service so far has been a yearly power wash.

It didn't come with that. It's a Coverstar Eclipse. In any case, I wanted to build a bench/cover to match some other decking in my yard, but would like to do it myself.

The ones I've seen use a large metal L-bracket that is affixed to the ground behind the cover mid span and then extends out over the cover spindle to provide the support for the enclosure.
