I'm getting some results on my SWG that aren't making sense to me. I'm trying to dial it in so I can just leave it running 24 hrs a day. I have an Aquatrol with a T5 cell which is supposed to produce ~ 0.7 lbs of chlorine per day. I ran a test a week ago when only using LC to see how much FC I would lose on a sunny day. From 8am - 8pm I lost 3.5 ppm. The next sunny day I made sure the FC was at 8% (and confirmed CYA was 70) before sunrise and started the SWG at 40% (just randomly picked that %) at 8pm I was at 8.5 ppm. That means I lost 3.5% during the day and the SWG made 4 ppm? According to PoolMath it should take my SWG 8.25 hours to make 3 ppm at 100%. What am I missing?
