I have a Hayward pump . I was weed whacking and I tore the ground wire off the pump. Does anyone know if this needs a specialty screw ? A certain type of metal ? Or size ? I took pics and i think I see the hole it would go into. Any help would be appreciated. Also I shouldn’t swim in the pool with the filter on I assume but I do anyways

I’m away from the pool at the moment . But that’s a threaded hole and I’m pretty sure that’s where the screw was. I could be wrong and I’ll look again when I go home

Use a strong magnet to search for the screw.
Maybe contact Century and ask them the screw size.
The hole looks like it might be stripped.

That may have been the screw to keep the plastic cover on but doubtful the bonding goes there.
Where should it go then ? A friend told me to put the wire between the screw and the metal door/brace that holds the pump to floor
