I currently have a very beaten up Pentair Legend - Four Wheel. One of the wheels have fallen off. Rather than having it repaired I was recommended to get a Polaris 360. Would you recommend sticking with a cleaner that is attached to the hose or going with a wireless cleaner? Curious to other people's experience. What cleaners would you recommend?

Thanks in advance!

I'd recommend you call up Marina Pool and Spa; supporters of the forum and also the best prices available (hundreds less than other options). You do need to call though - but Seth or Margaret can ask you a few simple questions and guide you to the best option. They're well known for steering forum members to less expensive products, so you can trust their input.

If you have a booster pump and want to get a new cleaner, get the Polaris 280. You can't use a 360 with a booster pump.
Why has the wheel fallen off? They are held on by plastic screws, unless it is the entire axle, but those are held to the frame with stainless steel screws. A lose/missing/replaceable wheel should not require a new cleaner.

I don't think I have a booster pump - bought pool with the house a year ago and the pool inspector recommended the Polaris 360. Let me look into the wheel. I will research on what a wheel replacement costs and see which way to go. Maybe see if I can give this bad boy more life and wait to upgrade next season.

Thanks for this resource. I will look into them. Watching a video from Margaret now on robotic cleaners.

The Pentair Legend is a pressure side cleaner. Are you sure you don't have a booster pump? If you do, then a Polaris 280 or 380 would fit the bill. If you don't have a booster pump, then I'd probably go for a robot.
Could be a Legend 2 which works like a 360, no booster pump. They were marketed against the "three-wheel" cleaner (360) as more stable.
