Solar covers in combination with liquid covers?

Anyone using both a liquid cover and a traditional solar cover? Experiences??

I sometimes get lazy with putting the solar cover on, can use the additional heating of direct sunlight without evaporation, etc.

On the other hand, wind is too strong for liquid alone and I believe a traditional cover saves on chlorine usage by blocking/filtering light.

Thoughts, experiences?

(This is not a liquid vs traditional, just about using both together. Thanks)

I don't think both are going to work together. Every time you pull the solar cover out you're going to probably pull most of the liquid cover off as well. I don't think very highly of the liquid covers if you have any kind of Breeze

Liquid cover I believe is rubbing alcohol. The concept *not sure how well it actually works, but the alcohol floats onto of the water thereby creating a thin barrier to the evaporation.

Rubbing alcohol evaporates very little if any so its supposed to keep floating back to the top when the pool is still.
