Liquid Chlorine Question

So I pulled the bottle of Clorox (it is NOT non-splash and also not scented, just regular liquid bleach) from the laundry room today to see what percent was listed on the bottle. It states: 7.55% Sodium Hypochlorate / 92.45% Other Ingredients

Everything I read on here, along with the Pool Math app, states household bleach at 6% and pool chlorine at 12%.

Am I missing the percent somewhere on the bottle? Or do the bottles vary on the percentage? I just anticipated this bottle I had would state 6% like everywhere else on this site.

Just bought it about a month ago? I looked for any discernible expiration date on the bottle and this is all I found:

59th day of 2023. Fairly fresh.

Household bleach comes in all levels of concentration. It used to be quite standard, but not any more.

Ok thank you very much. When I add it to the pool and log it on the app, should I just input “Bleach Chlorine” at 7.55% instead of the defaulted 6%?

yes. put in the concentration you are using.
