Liner Replacement

We would like to replace our liner (recently bought this house with pool in place).
1. Since we added a SWG, should we go with this same type of liner (which doesn't seem to be holding onto the tract) or should we go with the kind that drapes over the side, or something else?
2. What causes so many wrinkles in the bottom, is this from a poor install? There does appear to be a padding under the liner.
3. Is the fading and discoloration from improperly adding chemicals or is this normal? No idea how old this pool is.

Looks like an above ground. The liner is old and has been bleached out by lots of shock but they all fade and the sun does equal damage. Depending on your top cap you may be able to drape a liner I'd have to see what style you have. The wrinkles are from movement with a soft bottom it moves and stretches and heavy rains will wash bottoms around too. A solid base will keep the liner tight if it's not pounded by cannonball feet and that sort of thing nit it has to be installed tight to begin with
