Liner Replacement - How bad is the damage to structure

Hi,

The old liner was ripped out today, and the contractor said there is no major damage, but it looks to be in bad shape, so I wanted to get your thoughts. Attaching photos. Are there things that you recommended that I should get done before liner goes in?

How thin are the rusted areas?

I would paint the rusted walls with a rust neutralizer.
