lights for 16x38 IG fiberglass pool

Help me picks some lights for my new install. My last liner IG pool had a big 8 or 10 inch pentair light i think. Its was ok, but I was thinking some smaller lights placed around the pool might be better. I want something thats not crazy expensive, and is serviceable down the road. Some of the smaller ones accept a 1.5 inch hole in the shell. What happens if the light goes out? Are they replaceable? Let me know you suggestions. Thanks

Our pool is 16 x 40 and it has three of those smaller 3.5" LED lights along one side. They work very well. I've never had to replace one yet (knock knock).

I don't. They are very similar to the PAL type LED lights, but I don't think that's the manufacture. I never received any documentation on them either after the install. This was before my TFP days when I didn't know any better.

Very pleased with the light dispersion and color options (we have 1 in our sun ledge area and 3 in the main pool).

A 38' pool needs at least 3 LED lights spaced out evenly, all facing away from the house. Now days the lights are niche-less, so that's nicer for your pool. I only have two lights and really needed a third.
