Lightning Fried Pump...

So we had lightning roll through last night and my pump/sand filter will no longer run. I am assuming lightning is the culprit.

Question is...can I replace just the "pump" on this unit and save a few bucks, or am I just screwed?

Unit is the Intex Krystal Clear sand filter pump, 2800gph. Pool is 12 x 30 Intex metal frame, and we have invested quite a bit into it, but this being the end of the season and with our budget being tight, not sure what move to make here...

Have you tried resetting the built in G.F.C.I.?

Yes you can just replace the pump ... there should be nothing wrong with the filter.

The one on the actual plug? If so then yeah and no luck. Also reset the GFCI on the wall outlet too :/
