While there is always a possibility the material itself may be bad, the first area I would look at would be the water chemistry. Do you have a TF-100 or Taylor K-2006C test kit to post a full set of water test results?

Hello. I have the pentair test kit and the LaMotte copper test kit. When they installed the pool they sold me on copper ionization. I will do a test of the water and post results
