I've been chasing an air leak that puts small bubbles in the pump basket. Checked all pipe connections and quick disconnect for the liquidatior that is attached in the pump drain plug area. I cleaned lid gasket and lubed with teflon. I noticed the air is pulled in when the pump is first started and then disappates after running 15-20 minutes, leaving just a few very small bubbles. Would I be right thinking the lid gasket is leaking a small amount when the pump first applies suction? The pump is 3 seasons old.
Is it just a matter of pulling the old gasket off and pushing a new one into place? Never done this before!
