Levolor Autofill, Sensor in skimmer

Does anyone happen to have a photo of how you mounted the Levolor autofill sensor into your skimmer?

Most of the time I will use Velcro with an adhesive tape or just a good water resistant silicone.

How do you route the wire? I have concrete deck that is all around the skimmer lid. The skimmer is only about 12" from the edge of the concrete. I was thinking of digging down a bit and just under the concrete and drilling a hole through the top of the skimmer housing for the wire. This will be a good bit above the water line. Any reasons not to do that?

Any way you can get the wire from the skimmer to outside deck is good. Some pool decks have expansion joints that run to or close to skimmer that can be used. Drilling a hole or notching in the top of skimmer is fine

I thought the sensor is wireless?
