Levels off during startup

I'm about a week since having replaster finished and pool filled. I've followed the startup guides but my levels are still way off. Any chlorine I put in is eaten up straight away. My CH is 125 at my last test from today and the pool math app is suggesting 36 lbs of calcium chloride but that seems very high. Local lowes has made in china clorox chlorine calcium hardness increaser in stock currently which I was going to go pick up and add tonight to see if it makes an impact, my CYA is also 0 and was going to get the made in china chlorine chlorine stabilizer to add as well tonight. Is there better alternatives i should be using under more generic names?

Also I never added a sequestering agent is that something i should still add or should have?

What specific startup guide are you following?

Without CYA the pool will not hold chlorine for long.

Most startup guides say to add stabilizer on day 4.

What type of chlorine are you adding? How much? How often?

Ah that makes sense. I've been using LC, 2 gallons every day or two and put in 4 tablets on 2 in the auto chlorinator last night as I was hoping that would boost CYA levels which it made no impact on however are only partially dissolved.

Each Trichlor tablet will raise your FC by 4.6 and CYA by 2.8. They dissolve too slowly to get you to the CYA 30 you need.

You need to add 3 lbs of dry stabilizer for CYA 30.

What % liquid chlorine are you using?

That makes sense.

I'm using 10% LC from HD as its all I can find in the area. Never come across anything higher locally.
