Pulled my cover on Sunday. I closed it green. I've been SLAM'ing it since. Every day I can see deeper into the pool. I can just make out the robot in the shallow end (lil over 4ft deep) and the steps are becoming visible.

First pic just after the cover came off ... second is 3 days, and then this morning, day 10 of the SLAM. We're getting there!

Pool is clearing every day and sometimes by the hour! I've been in full blown SLAM mode since Sunday and babysitting the DE filter!

Almost! I've gone through 2 boxes of DE! Just opened the 3rd one about an hour ago but had to shut the pump down because the water level is to low. I'm topping off right now. Hopefully I can start her up soon. I'll run another battery of tests and see what she needs. I'm holding off on salt and calcium at the moment.

I can see the robot in the deepend! I tore the filter down and cleaned it and the pool is clearing so nicely! I can't wait to see it tomorrow morning!

Have been experiencing a lot of blow back of DE into the pool. The robot picked up a lot of it. I tightend my unions a 1/4 turn at the pump. We'll see if that helps. That's the easiest fix. I noticed I'm not losing prime once I did it. I have also cut the DE addition to 3 scoops instead of 4 on a backwash without a complete tear down. Pool looks great though considering I'm only 6 days into the SLAM.

I can't bear to pull back the full cover, lest my neighbors see the swamp i found this morning! Working through a waste and replace cycle right now before slamming. I can't see the hose more than 3 inches in.

A few minutes after removing the covers today. “Pool store” clear , but not TFP clear. A short SLAM should take care of it. Not bad for a late opening.
