I thought I was losing my mind today when i noticed my water level decreasing less as the heat rose, so I asked the wife what she had noticed. She agreed. We haven't had any storms and/or strong winds recently. Is this some sort of pool phenomenon of which we're unaware?

It's the warmer nights probably that are closer to the pool temperature. Less temp difference equals less evaporation.
