Any recommendations for LED wall/step lights? I need 13-14 led fixtures to go around the perimeter of the deck and pool. They will be located near the top of the wall, below a bluestone cap.

I’ve priced Volt online, local electric shop carries Kichler, pool supplier carries VistaPro. Any suggestions?

Good to hear these are so popular. I am going to light up my retaining wall and steps with these. They are all brass fixtures, so they should be fairly sturdy

Volt rocks. Incredible quality. I was so tired of anything store-bought going out all the time. My Volts have been going strong for a couple years now. Expensive, and worth it.

Two hints, which probably apply more to yard lighting than pool lighting:

I soldered all my connections. And then put those into the included wire nuts. I real pain, but I wanted my connections to be bullet proof, and to last forever.

I now wish I had gone up a size or two with the transformer. They recommend oversizing to begin with, but I love the lights so much that I started adding more beyond the original plan. Now I'm maxed on the transformer and still want more!

50 bucks sounds about right. Depending on what you're doing, they offer kits that include everything you might need, plus a bit of a discount. I bought one of those for the transformer and the wire and the base setup, then added a few more lights to get what I wanted... then a few more... then a few more...

I don't mind paying more, even a lot more, for something that is of very high quality, and will last a long time. These are definitely not disposable lights, like you might buy at Home Depot for $50 a set.
