Hello,

As the title says I will be going out of town and my pool will be unattended for 10 days. I don't have anyone who can come to test the water and add chlorine (unless I hire a company). I thought I would use pucks during those days, but I am wondering if that will actually work? Also, how many pucks should I put in the dispenser? Any other tips I should know of when doing this? Thank you in advance!

I have a similar situation in July and I plan to:

- Raise FC to SLAM levels before I go
- Put a couple of pucks in a floating dispenser
- Leave my pump at its current run state (a couple of hours at high RPM, rest of time low RPM) to keep water moving
- Cover with the solar cover

What is your CYA currently? Mine is pretty low and I can handle the increase from a couple of pucks.
