Hello all,
I am finishing up a new construction pool. 620 sq foot and about 25k gallons plus a spa and kiddie pool connected by rolling streams.
The pebble tec was applied a couple of weeks ago and pool was filled and got the equiptment hooked up and turned on about a week ago. I noticed a drop in the water level but initially hard to tell due to the regular rain we were getting in the atlanta area.
I officially noticed a 2in drop in water level in 24 hours. I put a bucket out at the same time with just a trace drop in the level.
I let my pool builder know and he is planning to turn off waterfall and pump and repeat bucket test. Also plans on a dye test.
My rough calculation is about 500ish gallons of water loss due to the leak overnight. Any thoughts on where it might be coming from? Do you think the shell/ pebble can be safely excluded due to it being brand new? Is that too much water to be losing from a light fixture or other simple fix? Plumbing leak would likely require tearing up paver patio.
Any thoughts would be appreciated!
