Hi Everyone,

I hope you are well.

Before I close the pool for the season I decided to try and finally find a small leak I have been dealing with.

With the pool off, the water loss has stopped in the middle of the returns.
When the pool was filled and running, I was losing between1/4-1/2 an inch a day (maybe a drop more when pool running).

I have looked along the current line and cannot find anything, I tried dye testing the returns but nothing conclusive.

Anyone have thoughts for next steps? Is one or more the returns the likely culprit and if so, what do I do?

Thanks for any help you may have!

Adam

Could the leak be at the fitting where the return lines enter the pool and fasten to the vinyl liner? Maybe fill it up above the fittings and check to see if they are leaking where the liner meets the fitting (squirt dye around the outside/inside of the fitting).

Has there been any obvious settling of the ground/deck around the pool? That can spell trouble.

Always check the cheap stuff first! :)
