Today after emptying my strainer basket and restarted the filter cycle I noticed a leak where the side bulk head fitting is located. It looks as if it’s coming from the seam of the filter -right where the bottom elbow assembly exits. I’ve ordered a new o ring, spacer, as well as a bulk head fitting, - I’m unsure what I’ll find when I get inside. Is there an adhesive, epoxy, or silicone that I can use without taking out all of the sand ?? Thanks in advance34856724-6942-40A4-B56C-ABC37702E2C0.jpeg

I was then able to remove the lateral assembly from the bottom elbow assembly, finally removing both pieces from the filter. I was then able to unscrew the remaining bulkhead piece, which was broken off and stuck inside the elbow assembly. The ordered bulkhead leaves a huge gap, and I’m hoping the spacer, which hasn’t arrived, will fill the gap to avoid future leakage.
