LCD out on IntelliFlo VS original (011018)

Hi all, I have an original IntelliFlo VS circa 2012 that is working well. Except the LCD does not seem to work at all. It is hooked up with an EasyTouch control panel / system, so I don't actually need the LCD but it would be nice if I could get it working again (of course without spending a few hundred bucks on a whole new drive kit or keypad unit). There are some other threads on TFP discussing the same issue (like this one), with some posts explaining that the problem is often just poor contact between the LCD and the contact pins that drive it (with the solution that seems to work being to add weather stripping or equivalent to the face of the LCD to force compression against the contact pins). Unfortunately I tried that solution but it does not seem to work in my case. As you can see in the attached photo, it looks like my LCD is actually damaged, possibly from sun exposure? (Notice the faint lines that look like cracks.) Does anyone have any thoughts on what happened, whether it can be fixed, and how? I have turned the internet upside down to look for a place that I can buy just the LCD itself (rather than the whole drive kit or keypad) but came up empty handed. TIA!

Welcome to TFP.

If a screen replacement has not been found by now I doubt it exists.

Look for someone whose motor died and control panel is good to acquire as a parts donor.

I am sure a lot of those 011018 pumps are being replaced. Let local pool companies know you are looking for a parts donor.

So those are all used parts then? Is that the direction you're going then or do you think that's too much to pay for fixing a $1000 pump?
Yep those are all used parts. I think Pentair doesn’t make the original keypad or drive kit anymore, so any of those parts you’d fine online are all either used or NOS. It seems excessive to me to pay upwards of $200+ just to fix the LCD on an old pool pump that is otherwise working fine. If I can’t find a better option, seems like I’m better off just saving that money for an entirely new pool pump if/when this one bites the dust.
