lap pool - lane line

starting a new thread bc i allowed my other to be stale... recap- building a lap pool 75x9 feet
waterline tile installed. need to decide on mosaics (fun turtles etc) and the middle line + “T”.
Options:
1) 6” tile every 2 feet for a “dot” effect
2) 6” tile line down for a straight line down
3) forget the line and put mosiac at the ends

I'd put a mosaic at each end. I love tile pools and, unless you're sharing the pool while doing laps, you don't really need a lane line.

I think I'd put a tile line with distance marker tiles every maybe 10 feet. That way when you're swimming laps you just look at the bottom to know where you are.

my plan is to make my husband swim laps w me! (on his side). luckily neither of us is fast, so hopefully we won’t need the wave reducing lane floats!

i got the pricing to do a dash line - 2 feet line, 2 feet space, the T at the ends would be solid. my friend mentioned that it may be distracting to have a dash line while swimming instead of a solid line ... any thoughts?

Dude, that's a lap pool put a line on the bottom of some sort!!! Haha

yes - we decided to pay the extra and put a solid line down the middle w the t’a at the end
