Landscaping rock bed help!

I've got 18ft coleman with level sand base and tarp over top sand. I've had 3 poles settle and sink a fractional amount. I am wanting to put landscaping edging around base of pool for rock edge border. Before I start digging small trench for rocks, should I be worried about making those poles sink more? If so, what can I do? Trying to post a picture.

under every one of the legs should be a cement footer 12x12 at least 2 inches thick, the pool legs can settle and collapse the side of the pool if too far out of level

Can I add those while the water is in it or would I have to drain the water?

your pool has about 6700 gallons and weighs in at 63,000 pounds or about 27 tons

unless you have a big green guy on steroids you will have to empty it to about 6 inches or so..
