Kreepy or What Else?

I've an aquanaut 200 sweep that my pool guy says is worn out. It's five or six years old.

I had a Kreepy for 25 years in my California pool, and it worked rather well. Each lasted around 12 years. I had to replace parts but it was pretty simple stuff.

Should I be looking at anything else?

Pebble is a little hard on the pleat (flower) seal of the standard Kreepy. Might want to try a wheeled cleaner like Pentair's Rebel, wheeled Kreepy, or Hayward's The Pool Cleaner.
