Keep your brushes out of the sun

In July of 2022 I found a great deal on Sweepease brushes, so I bought two. I put one on a pole that's stored on top of a deck box, and i stashed the other one away inside the box.

I brush very infrequently, maybe once every couple months. But two years later, here's the one that was inside the box:



And here's the one that i left out in the sun:

Most brushes around here won’t last 2 seasons if left out in the sun.

I typically use a mixed 50/50 steel/nylon brush on my pool. They last a little bit longer than the straight nylon ones.

I upgraded to a ProTuff brush a year ago, and it's been great. It's a quality investment on a tool you use frequently.
