Keep Slamming???

We have been slamming our pool for three days now. It's a 30,000 gallon pool and CYA of 50 so we've been keeping at level based on the recommendations here. This morning my free chlorine was the same as last night and I had no combined chlorine present. I thought I was done slamming, water is crystal clear. I checked the water levels again tonight.

Last night FC 21

This AM FC 21 CC-O
I still put in two 1gallon 10% bleaches this afternoon.

Tonight after dark just about an hour ago. FC-15.2
CC- 0.2
PH-7.8
CYA-50
Ca-280
Pool temp 80 F

Why such a drop in the FC today with continually adding liquid chlorine?
I added two more gallons and will again do an overnight.
Is that drop normal during the day. I live in Dallas and has some decent rain this afternoon.

Thanks for he help.

Thanks for the reply. My next questions is, then how to I keep my FC at target range without pouring 3 gallons of chlorine in every day? I know everyone says not to use tablets due the the increase in CYA.
So is it reasonable to think I will have to pour in liquid every day this summer?? Is there any other option?
The pool was converted to chlorine from salt by the previous owners. I have all the right equipment. Should I just switch over?
Thanks again.

At lower FC levels, you will lose fewer ppm of FC.

Yes, it is normal to have to add chlorine every day. There are automated systems like a Stenner pump or SWG to add tut chlorine for you.
