JVA for pool cleaner side port not recognized

Yes, I am familiar with the aqualink programming, but what am I assigning to CLEANER? Why is CLEANER "FREE"?

Do I assign EXTRA AUX to the CLEANER button? I assumed CLEANER would show "USED" if it were detected correctly.
 
Have you put the panel in AUTO and turned on AUX1?

If the actuator turns and your cleaner runs you are done.

You enter a schedule for CLEANER (AUX1) the same way you enter a schedule for the filter pump or any other AUX.

You enter a program schedule for the AUX, not a JVA.

@PoolGate @HermanTX can help you setup a schedule on iAqualink.
