in the logs you will see that I have added 4gal of bleach 6% and I added 1 gal of this to reduce alkalinity. I wasn’t sure how to add it in pool math. A8ECADD9-51E2-4870-9F85-25D36B7F4542.jpeg
pool is very cloudy. I can barely see bottom of deep end. I’ve got the sand filter going and my dolphin m600. I’m brushing walls and stairs. Anything I’m missing?

It looks like you need to do a SLAM. I'd drop pH to 7.2 ish beforehand though and then shoot for 24 ppm of FC for the SLAM. Don't forget to brush a couple of times a day as well.

Your numbers look ok, except for the TA. I wouldn't worry about it for now. It will surely come down as you add muriatic acid to reduce pH. If it really bothers you, you can attack it after the pool is crystal clear.

Wow, just noticed you have a 61K gallon pool. It looks like you need 75 oz for every 1 ppm of FC. That's 14 or so gallons of 10% liquid chlorine just to get you to 24 ppm.

Test the pH 2 to 3 hours after adding it to the pool with the pump running. Once you get it to 7.2-7.4, leave, it alone. The pH reading won't be valid once your FC goes above 10, so don't worry about it till after the SLAM is done.

You should check the FC every couple of hours, if possible, and top it back up to 24 so it will keep on killing everything. The more times a day you do it, the better.

Don’t stop too early. Make sure you pass all the criteria. You don’t want to get it back up to these levels again with that big of a pool

Just tested. Was at 20FC. Put two more gallons of 12.5% in. Brushed, vacuumed and backwashed filter. All the debris is out of the pool. Still very cloudy in the deep end. Can’t see my robot when it’s down there.
