I've been waiting a month or more for the water to be warm enough to swim. It was 85 two days ago with the solar cover on, but too late in the day. So I got in today!
Temp was 79, but the shock wore off in a few seconds. I swam a couple of straight line laps across the pool (14 feet each way) then it started RAINING!! So what, I thought, water is water, then it thundered -- NOPE!!
So I climbed out and went inside. The water felt great, it was warmer in the depths than it was at the surface. Silky, smooth water, no salt, just chlorine.
Good first dip of the season! And it was clean and clear, thanks to TFP!!
