So i have 21 x52 round with a sandfilter and ionizer hooked up i usually only check my pool once a month usually never had algea or any problems but we have got a ton of rain so i decided to check it fc 0 which is normal with the ionizer ph is 7.8 and alk say 140 an copper reads within the correct level cya is at less than 30 should i add muratic acid like pool math says cause it seems to be alot or just balance the ph back to 7.2 7.4 range an cll it good?

Test strips have proven to be too inaccurate, or just plain vague to use for dosing. You need reliable data or the correction is 'dump and pray'.

Test Kits Compared

Your ionizer is an 'alternative sanitizer' that isn't a government approved approach. You need full amounts of chlorine, and then you can use your ionizer if you must, but if you're already sanitary, the ionizer is redundant. As is, you are not sanitary. Copper isn't a contact killer and takes too much time.
